DESCRIPTION: We are currently recruiting engineers to perform reliability modeling and analysis for military ground vehicles and high reliability electronic circuit modules, LRUs and electro-mechanical systems. Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform reliability modeling of complex electronic and mechanical systems. Modeling approaches to include functional models, reliability block diagrams and fault trees.
• Conduct reliability predictions of individual hardware and reliability assessments of systems and subsystems.
• Develop and prepare detailed Failure Modes and Effects Analyses of systems with the ability to assess criticality with respect to mission success and logistics burden.
• Conduct de-rating and overstress analyses and assessments for electronic systems.
• Make design improvement recommendations to enhance reliability.
• Interface with design engineers to understand system functionality and coordinate the implementation of design improvements into technical data packages.
• Support statistical analyses for reliability and life cycle cost minimization
• Support the implementation of diagnostics and prognostics into system designs to enhance reliability, testability and maintainability.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have a BSME or BSEE with 10 years experience in reliability engineering for high reliability military systems including experience in RCM analysis and CBM+ principles;  training or experience in the use of industry standard reliability tools (RELEX, ITEM Toolkit or similar), probabilistic analysis and statistics; skilled in the use of computers for mathematical analysis and MS Office applications; proficiency in writing technical reports and verbal communication with other engineers; ability to present technical information clearly in oral presentations; excellent problem solving skills and ability to work with minimal direction; and effective leadership and interpersonal skills.

DESIRED: Product design experience for high reliability systems. Experience/familiarity with System Safety related items, such as SubSystem Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Operating and Support Hazard Analysis (O&SHA), and human error concerns.  Experience/familiarity with Maintainability items, such as Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Availability concepts.  Familiarity with Logistics Provisioning, Supportability, Maintenance Planning, and Repair Analysis.

This material development includes direction and participation to establish  validation, engineering and manufacturing, production, and deployment plans. REQUIREMENTS:  Candidate must have a four-year, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, specialization in engineering, engineering science, engineering management, mathematics, analytical science, physical science, business, or management.
