  • Requirements and Concept Development. CPC can take your rough concept (provided as a crude napkin sketch or written or even a verbal description) and work independently or collaboratively with you as appropriate to clearly define and document the key performance requirements that need to be met. We can then utilize our systematic concept development process to define a family of viable candidate solutions with just enough detail to support evaluation of alternatives and selection of preferred solution(s) for further development.


  • Optimized Structures, Mechanisms and Optical Packaging. We have the necessary experience in using standard and exotic metals, plastics and composite materials to deliver optimal design solutions for land, air and space based products for commercial, scientific and military applications.


  • Electronics Packaging and Wire Harness Design. We have extensive experience in packaging of electronics at the PWB component, LRU module and complex system level. Our engineers have designed, delivered and tested hardware for military, commercial telecom and spaceflight hardware applications. In addition to defining packaging solutions for high performance EMI sensitive electronics that operate in hostile environments we have expertise in generating 3D cable harness models and associated 2D detail drawings necessary to meet your most challenging technical performance, environmental durability and production schedule goals.


  • Produceability, Maintainability, and Sustainment. CPC is also skilled in defining solutions that can be effectively manufactured, installed and maintained.


  • Rapid Prototyping. We are very responsive, agile and innovative product development group with the necessary in house and partner resources to deliver mock-up or prototype test ready hardware extremely quickly to meet your needs. We thrive on rising to resolve our customers' high schedule pressure technically challenging hardware delivery challenges.


  • Production Hardware Delivery. We can provide necessary procurement, inventory control, quality management and schedule oversight to ensure that your low to medium rate production hardware is delivered to meet specification, on time and on budget.


  • Sub-Contract Management and Vendor Oversight. CPC can be your resource providing the technically knowledgeable and "programmatically savvy" resources necessary to manage your sub-contract vendor activities to ensure that your hardware is delivered to cost, schedule and technical performance requirements with NO SURPRISES.


  • Comprehensive Toolset. CPC has standardized on PTC's family of Mechanical CAD, Computer Aided Engineering (i.e. FEA), visualization and data management tools. Our in house Mechanical design toolset includes Pro/Engineer (with many associated extensions and sub-modules), Pro/Mechanica, MathCAD, ProductView, and Windchill PDMLink and ProjectLink. In addition CPC has available licenses of AutoCAD, MATLAB and Simulink, Thermal Desktop. In addition, CPC has available resources with expertise and licenses of MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN. IDEAS, and other structural, dynamic and thermal analysis tools.
